ABOUT

OVER UNDER is a subtropical honky tonk — an American cocktail bar and kitchen in historic Downtown Miami. We are owner-operated so we can pull-off things like democratic pricing. (Which shields us from only serving yuppies.) So far, people have mostly freaked out about the cheeseburger, the fish dip, and the frozen palomas.

The Chef is MICHAEL EURE, who keeps the kitchen open late and Florida on the plate.

The Managing Partner is ASHLEY RICHARDSON, who keeps the whole thing running.

The Head Bartender is MIKE REICH. He is a “Broken Shaker Alum” where he worked together with owner, BRIAN GRIFFITHS, until they grew up. He appreciates big talk and fast drinks.

The bar was built and designed by ALEXANDRE RODRIGUES alongside principal owner, LEONARDO RODRIGUES.

FOOD

Real bar food, made under string lights with Florida on the mind. We serve food and drinks inspired by and sourced from Florida and the surrounding regions — proud partners include Treasure Coast Oysters, Matadero Cabrera, Flagler St. Bakery, Murray’s Farm, and Alligators Inc.

Crispy Gator — fried Florida alligator tail with fancy tartar sauce

Cheeseburger — American cheese, griddled onions, housemade 1000-island, handcut fries

Sour Orange Pie — picture Key Lime pie, except with a fruit that actually grows in Florida

DRINKS

Culinary and craft cocktails with subtropical ingredients that get to your table fast. Plus shots and beers and frozen drinks when you don’t want to be a nerd.

Frozen Paloma — tequila, fresh grapefruit, agave, citrus

Shell-tini — oyster-shell-infused gin, vermouth, thyme

Rotating Market Julep — the recipe changes whenever the market does

LATE NITE

The kitchen runs late. After 11pm the Late Nite menu takes over — fried pickles, a buffalo chicken sandwich, and the Cowboy Burger — plus late-nite staples from the main menu.
